Leaving Kazan entroute to Samara, Russia

The journey today was leaving the city of Kazan (potholes that would take your bike out), train tracks and uneven roads due to the weight of the trucks carving out grooves which made it difficult to manouevre. Roads were straight and long (you could see for miles). We stopped for coffee and all the locals gathered around giving us a "thumbs up" of encouragement. We shared our lunch spot with the bees, bugs, hornets, wasps, you name it. There was a cool breeze riding all day.
Introducing "Leo"!!!!!!

Mick leading us over a bridge enroute to Samara
Chaotic traffic in Kazan
How do we get out of here????
Whoops!!!! Another pothole
So many lines to cross (and it's all uneven)

Everyone Stay Close

Our route for the day (350 kms). Took us until 5:30 pm leaving at 8:45 am
