Along the Black Sea

From Amaysa to Trabzon Turkey was a beautiful, coastal ride. We had stopped at an amazing restaurant; airy and magnificent views. So just a few pics of that restaurant and where we stayed in Trabzon for two days until we were able to catch the ferry (which was suppose to be a 12 hr process that ended up taking 48 hrs). Just a taste of Trabzon since it is the last place we stayed in Turkey. Views from the rooftop (a bar). My odometer reading before we headed on the boat to Russia (6584 kms). It had 66 kms when I started. A pic showing how they dry their carpets (big in Turkey). I did love riding in Turkey.

  1. You have really put a lot of kilometres on the bike. That is amazing. What a long time you had before you actually got on the ferry. You must have been tired.
It is very warm in Muskoka. We actually have the air conditioning on. We had Mike and Kim here for dinner and then we went on their speed boat on the Moon. It moves so fast - quite a difference between that and the pontoon. I liked it but not as easy to get in and out of as the pontoon.
Hope all is well with you. Take it easy and take care of yourself. Looking forward to your next email or blog. Love you, Mom.
