"YES,I'M HOME!!!!!"

To Anyone Out There Still Following My Blog,
"I'M HOME!" Wow, it's sooooo nice to be home. After leaving Dryden, Ontario two nights ago, I had wanted to push myself and make it all the way home (nearly impossible I think as it was going to be well over 20 hours of riding). Not to mention it started to hail, some freezing rain turn light snow, fog (charging Moose and darting Deer signs posted ever 2 kms) making it a short ride day instead where I pulled up at 5:00 pm after being soaked to the bone and stiff and I simply said "ENOUGH". I don't know why this was an inconvenience for me because I endured much more severe and extreme temperatures (at least it wasn't -10 to -15 degrees celsius) camping in Siberia when we were only 200 kms south of the Arctic Circle. And now I'm complaining??!! Anyway, I stayed at the Travelodge in Marathon (thank God they had a gas fireplace in the lobby) and headed out the next morning at 8 am arriving in Huntsville at 9:40 pm. A friend and one of my riding buddies, Ron, arrived in North Bay to escort me home. What a godsend because the last leg began raining hard once again, it was very dark and the company was soooo much appreciated (not to mention a familiar face from home is always heartwarming and getting caught up on the local events since I've been away was fabulous). I met more of my friends who also are my riding buddies (Norm, another Ron and Aira) at Tim Horton's in Huntsville where we talked til after midnight getting caught up and showing pics from my trip. A wonderful homecoming!!!! Aira had been looking after my Mitzi dog and when I walked in the door there was a BIG "WELCOME HOME" sign sitting on my table and my dog giving me tons of licks welcoming me home. We sat up until 3:30 watching t.v. as I was still vibrating from what I believe to be the bikes vibration but according to my friends, "I was wired for sound". So as promised, I'm posting some of the last leg of our trip and I'll "give you all the goods" as it was quite "an adventure, mate". Please read next post........
